At the opening of the exhibition “typographies and design objects” at “Wohnbedarf” in November 1992, Max Bill signed copies of the Ulm stool with a red Caran d’Ache ballpoint pen, which went on sale.

This first authorized original production was subsequently produced with great success and is still sold. Today, these copies are stamped with the signature “max bill”.

Material: Uncoated spruce wood (seat and side walls) and beech wood (round bar and the two support slats). Weight: 2.1kg

Condition: Vintage condition with signs of age and wear.
